Dr. Alligood, founder of Express Family Care, brings more than 20 years of Emergency Medicine experience. He previously served as Director of the Emergency Department at two Carilion hospitals.
A graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency in Roanoke. Dr. Alligood provides walk-in care at the Bonsack, Cave Spring, and Westlake clinics.
In 2023, Roanoker Magazine named him the Top Urgent Care Doctor in the Roanoke Valley.
